I'm Ian Jake Robleza. I'm a recent graduate of Columbia College Chicago, where I had majored in Audio Arts and minored in Philosophy/Religion. I created this website to showcase my professional endeavors so far, and although it doesn't quite cover everything, I like to think it highlights some of the most significant moments. The story so far...
I started writing songs my senior year of high school. Up until then, I had only been in bands, playing drums, sometimes guitar, and sometimes singing. One thing led to another, and I found myself releasing music. It's been about half a decade now since the start, and I still find myself with the same eager mentality: that art and music can reach people and bring them together. I like to think I know more than I did five years ago, but all I really know for sure is that there's so much more to learn. I perpetually observe the fine line between art and entertainment, and it only gives me more reason to express myself in the most candid way I feel like I can- through writing, and through music. In that same vein, I'm committed to helping others express what they want to express, with the skills I continue to develop. On that note, here's to a productive and insightful 2024! :)
